Hi! I’m Haley, and my favorite part of sci-fi & fantasy novels, movies, and other media usually involves food. From dreaming about eating noodles with Dekkar in Blade Runner to wondering what blue milk actually tastes like, I enjoy thinking about the different ways that cuisine choices make the characters we know and love come to life.
I’m also a part of Hugo, Girl! (where our Fantastical Food segment is a regular part of analyzing and appreciating award-winning novels). In my free time, I grow tomatoes and corn, read a lot of nautical history, and am always in search of local sandwiches whenever I travel.
